KE5 series cross-slider coupling mainly consists of two half-couplings, intermediate slider and connecting bolts. The two half-couplings are connected to the two shafts that need to transmit power, while the intermediate slider is embedded in the grooves of the two half-couplings by means of a cam, which realizes the transmission of torque and the compensation of relative displacement.
Half coupling: usually made of high strength alloy steel or stainless steel, with high strength and good wear resistance.
Intermediate slider: made of wear-resistant materials, such as polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) or graphite, etc., with good sliding performance and wear resistance.
Connecting bolts: used to fasten the two half-couplings together to ensure the stability and reliability of the coupling.
